Amour Caché was founded by Agnes and Deean, best friends and entrepreneurs who met in college at Boston University who shared a common struggle: finding a bra that offered the perfect fit. They soon discovered that many other women faced the same challenge too.

 

Their journey took a poignant turn when Agnes found breast lumps, reminding them of the ever-changing nature of a woman's body. Motivated to make a difference, they enrolled in lingerie courses at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City, channeling their passion for design into a business. Their first creation was a luxurious pocketed bra crafted The Cristal, a unique triangle pocketed bra made from Leavers lace and soft mesh, designed to meet the needs of both breast cancer survivors and other women alike, filling a gap in the lingerie industry with a versatile and inclusive approach.

 

  

Today, Agnes and Deean remain deeply involved in every aspect of Amour Caché, from sourcing premium materials to designing each style. They meticulously oversee a rigorous process where each piece undergoes up to 15 rounds of sampling and fittings with models of various shapes and sizes, ensuring that no detail is compromised. Nothing gets released unless it passes their 3 rigorous tests: appearance, comfort, and fit.

 

Amour Caché continues to prioritize comfort, design, versatility, and support for women in all stages of life. It is a brand that not only aims to enhance the natural beauty of its wearers but also provides the confidence to embrace every moment.

The brand exclusively uses OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified materials, ensuring that all fabrics are dyed safely and free from harmful substances. The materials are sourced from high-end materials vendors, many of which are third- and fourth-generation family businesses that share a dedication to maintaining the highest quality standards.

 

Creating bras is not only a passion for the brand but also an art form that owes much to the craftsmanship of skilled sewers. Agnes and Deean, the founders, are deeply involved in the production process, routinely overseeing quality control at their BSCI-certified factory in Malaysia. Their commitment to excellence means that only the finest workmanship is accepted for Amour Caché's products, ensuring each piece meets the brand's high standards for comfort, style, and durability.

 

Amour Caché operates globally, including Calgary, where Agnes moved to, and regularly attends popups, local markets, and events. Today, the brand has expanded its operations to 2 warehouses, 1 in Canada and another in the US, to better serve its beloved boutique retailers and customers.
